OPERATIONAL ABSTRACT
An acoustic waveguide incorporating a sealed silicone fluid chamber whose viscosity is varied to create continuously tunable mechanical acoustic filtering. Enhanced revision 2 with improved low-noise shielding and updated real-time firmware.
TECHNICAL SUMMARY & TRANSDUCTION DYNAMICS
ACoupling a speaker diaphragm to fluidic channels changes the mechanical moving mass, allowing acoustic low-pass filtering to be adjusted mechanically without electronic EQ. Calibrated for studio and field use under ZIAA experimental protocols. Harmonic distortion measured under 0.02% across primary operating range.
