Cylindrical Steel Water Tower Acoustic Waveguide and Delay Chamber (Revision 2.1)
Cylindrical Steel Water Tower Acoustic Waveguide and Delay Chamber (Revision 2.1)
OPERATIONAL ABSTRACT
A decommissioned 30-meter steel water reservoir transformed into a colossal vertical acoustic waveguide and mechanical reverberation processor. Enhanced revision 2 with improved low-noise shielding and updated real-time firmware.
TECHNICAL SUMMARY & TRANSDUCTION DYNAMICS
A high-powered compression driver mounted at the tower base injects audio up the vertical steel cylinder, where sound bounces continuously between steel dome plates. Calibrated for studio and field use under ZIAA experimental protocols. Harmonic distortion measured under 0.02% across primary operating range.
