A modular exhibition floor platform embedded with high-power tactile transducers that transmit low-frequency sound directly into the feet and skeleton of standing listeners. Enhanced revision 4 with improved low-noise shielding and updated real-time firmware.
TECHNICAL SUMMARY & TRANSDUCTION DYNAMICS
Independent voice-coil shakers mounted beneath decoupled birch floor panels deliver frequencies from 10 Hz to 120 Hz, creating spatial acoustic motion beneath listener feet. Calibrated for studio and field use under ZIAA experimental protocols. Harmonic distortion measured under 0.02% across primary operating range.
