Motorized Haptic Feedback Keyboard with Dynamic Spring Resistance (Revision 5.2)
Motorized Haptic Feedback Keyboard with Dynamic Spring Resistance (Revision 5.2)
OPERATIONAL ABSTRACT
A 49-key performance interface where each key is driven by a motorized actuator that simulates physical hammer actions, spring tension, or hydraulic fluid resistance. Enhanced revision 5 with improved low-noise shielding and updated real-time firmware.
TECHNICAL SUMMARY & TRANSDUCTION DYNAMICS
Individual coreless DC motors provide programmable force-feedback at 4 kHz refresh rates, allowing keys to physically push back or click at microtonal scale divisions. Calibrated for studio and field use under ZIAA experimental protocols. Harmonic distortion measured under 0.02% across primary operating range.
